Hello to all my amazing clients! As many of you know, I specialize in lifestyle photography, especially for families, maternity, and newborns. But my passion doesn’t stop there—I’m equally dedicated to dance photography, which I capture through my businesses, Famous Photos and Okanagan Dance Photography.
I’ve had the pleasure of capturing dancers throughout the Okanagan Valley and beyond. Dance is such a beautiful art form, and photographing dancers brings a unique challenge and joy. Whether it’s capturing graceful ballet movements or the energy of contemporary dance, my goal is to preserve these powerful moments through photography. I also continue to dance, teaching at Accentz Dance Studio in Vernon (on 30th Ave).
Dance photography allows me to focus on the emotion and energy that dancers express through their movements. There’s something truly magical about freezing a leap in mid-air or capturing the delicate footwork of a dancer. These are moments of hard work, dedication, and artistry that deserve to be documented in a way that does them justice. It’s why I’ve made dance photography a key part of my portfolio, alongside my work in lifestyle and family photography.
I continue to operate out of my downtown Vernon studio at 2805 27 Street, a historic and welcoming space where dancers and clients feel at ease. This studio has become a creative hub, and I love working here to craft images that reflect the beauty of dance and movement. Whether we shoot in the studio, on location in the dance studio or a competition, or take advantage of the stunning outdoor locations around the Okanagan Valley, I aim to create a visual story that resonates with each dancer.
